Various Government Departments are getting their websites developed internally or by 3^rd party developers.  In order to host their websites at NIC servers they are required to undergo security testing of their websites as per NIC guidelines for 3^rd party audit of websites Document No.NIC-SEC-GUIDELINES-WEBSITES-001 dated 22.6.2007 Version 1.0 by the auditing organizations empanelled by CERT-IN (List available at  www.cert-in.org.in).  STQC IT Security Services are also empanelled with Cert-In as an empanelled security audit organization and STQC is the only Government body authorized to undertake website security testing as per NIC guidelines for safe hosting.
